How long will my order take?
We place your order with the warehouse within one business day, and you get an email with a tracking number on the day it ships. The same tracking link is on your order page. We do not quote delivery dates. Once your order is on its way the carrier sets the pace, and we would rather give you real tracking than a guess. If something is running behind, we will email you rather than leave you wondering.
How do you price your books?
We work to keep prices fair while supporting a sustainable independent bookstore. The current price is shown on each book page, and no membership is required. Shipping and any applicable tax are shown at checkout before you pay.
Where do your books ship from?
Every book is new and ships by USPS with tracking from US book warehouses we work with.
Why was (or wasn't) I charged sales tax?
Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on where your order ships, and you'll see the exact amount before you pay. We collect tax in the states where we're registered, which right now is Virginia.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is $5.00 on orders under $25 and free on orders of $25 or more, no matter how many books are in the box. It's shown at checkout before you pay. We ship within the United States only.
What if my book arrives damaged or it's the wrong book?
Email hello@spineboundbooks.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and three photos: the shipping box, the damage (or the wrong book), and the barcode on the back of the book. We'll send a replacement or a full refund. In most cases you won't need to ship anything back; if we do need the book returned, we'll send you simple instructions.
Can I return a book I changed my mind about?
We can't accept change-of-mind returns. Every order is still covered if it arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect. Read the full returns policy.
How do I pay?
All major credit and debit cards, Shop Pay, and PayPal. Other options may appear at checkout.
